Port Angeles Residents Looking to Connect You With Storytellers

Nicole Croxford

Nicole was born and raised in this beautiful town of PA and has a deep-rooted connection to its people. Her entire family has a love for this community and the great outdoors. You will often see her and her children out bike riding, hiking, or at their favorite spots on the lake. By trade, she is a certified shorthand court reporter, and she now works from home typing hundreds of words per minute. This profession has allowed her the freedom and flexibility to travel and experience other places and cultures, but she always finds her way back home to the Pacific Northwest.

Joe Descala

Joe is the founder, director, and board president of 4PA. Growing up in Port Angeles gave him a deep love for our community. With a degree in Biology, plus years as a local faith leader and pastor, his unique background give him the heart to help both people and our environment. For some crazy reason he finds endurance sports fun, so when he’s not running 4PA you can literally find him running the streets and trails of Port Angeles. 

Matt Zdroik

Born to an electrician and nurse in central Wisconsin, Stevens Point, Matt Zdroik graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a History & Spanish Major paired with English and Econ minors. Rather than going down the path of being a teacher, his calling ended up being towards the educational conversations that happen every day in the insurance industry. Matt enjoys being active in the pnw community. Find him hiking in the Olympic National Park, hanging out by Lake Crescent, or walking up and down the beaches near La Push…he loves being part of such an amazing community. All things outdoors include hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and being outside when the sun is setting. Supporting the local sports teams in football and baseball are part of their passion. Going fast on Sunday, along with Faith and football, with the main motorsports series is how he usually spends his Sundays. Being active Rotarians and Lions and Kiwanas keeps him busy and active in the community.
